Why do I need to pay a Registration fee?

A Love Volunteers registration fee of US$299 for new members ($149 for returning members) is charged in addition to the program fees. Registration fees are non-refundable once the program placement has been confirmed, however, they remain valid indefinitely, for any program at any future date and can be transferred to a friend or family member should the placement not proceed as planned for any reason. 

Our registration fee covers pre- and post- placement support from Love Volunteers, checking and vetting local organisations and regularly reviewing our programs as well as administration and marketing costs. From the outset we have kept our overheads down to ensure you pay the lowest possible fees - we’re just a team of passionate people from around the world who love helping you help the world!
