Will my son/daughter receive an orientation when they arrive?

Yes! Upon arrival into their chosen volunteering destination, your son/daughter will be collected by a representative of the local project team and transported to the volunteer house accommodation where they will join a full orientation session presented by a representative from the local team. They will fill your child in on local and regional customs, traveling, rules and recommendations, and of course, what to expect from your volunteering experience. This is a great opportunity for your child to get to know their hosts, meet their fellow volunteers, and ask any last questions they may have.
