How will my son/daughter travel to the project each day?

In most cases, daily transport to/from the project site is not provided, as we are great believers in having our volunteers use local transport just like the locals do; and providing dedicated transport only serves to segregate international volunteers from the people they are there to help.

Where possible, volunteers usually travel together to/from their accommodation/project site by whatever means is appropriate/suitable in their chosen location. This may be walking, bus, car/taxi or public other transport. Local staff always travel with volunteers at the start to familiarize them with the route and ensure they are completely comfortable with this process.
