Message to Parents

Dear Parents,

Firstly, the entire Love Volunteers team wishes to extend our deepest and most sincere gratitude for choosing to work with our company. We wish to commend you for choosing our services, by which you will introduce your child/children to the wonderful and enriching world of volunteering.

We know and understand that the decision to undertake a volunteer service trip abroad is a big challenge and constitutes a major change in their lives. Your children will be leaving your care and will go off by themselves to explore strange new places, meet new people and experience entirely new things. While this is a great challenge, we wish to tell you that our global Love Volunteers family will do our best to make sure that your children will have a deep, meaningful and, most of all, safe journey.

We have tailored many of our programs to be appealing to younger volunteers (especially around the college level), and we have made sure that they will be able to build not only bridges, but also character, confidence and a knowledge that they have made a difference in the world. You are making the best choice for your children because you can be assured that you are giving them the best quality volunteer experience with a trusted and experienced team of people.

Please be assured that your children’s health and safety is our topmost priority, and that we have made every precaution to ensure that we will keep your child away from every dangerous and risky situation. We would also like to assure you that your child will be accompanied by trained professionals at all times, especially when they are in their assigned project and accommodations.

While resting or sleeping, your child will be placed either in a secure dedicated Volunteer House or with one of our trusted local host families. All Love Volunteers host families are careful researched and screened to ensure that our volunteers will have a comfortable and safe stay with them. We also make sure that all host families have a basic knowledge of English, are socially and financially respectable and have had previous hosting experience. While staying with the host family, a representative of our local partner team will also drop by regularly to check on your child, so you can be sure of your child’s safety and comfort.

During the duration of your child’s volunteer program, he or she can be placed with other volunteers if you so prefer. This way, your child can be more comfortable and familiar with those he or she works with and can enjoy his or her experience more thoroughly.

Should you have other issues or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Warm Regards,

The team @ Love Volunteers
