Can I withdraw cash in my chosen country?
As with internet access, the proximity of a good-sized town or city means that, generally speaking, banks are accessible if visits are timed to coincide with opening hours. ATMs exist in all the major towns associated with our placements and we'll ensure that you know of any local quirks regarding these type of services well before you leave.
For some of the more remote placements, the nearest ATM may be some distance away, so we suggest carrying some local currency in between opportunities to withdraw funds. If you have any specific questions about withdrawing money/ATMs/Banks, just ask the local project team.
