What is included in the Program Fee?

The program fees are listed on the program page and are charged for full weeks. These fees cover things like airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, food, transport and in-country support staff who are assisting throughout the duration of your volunteer placement. The specifics of what is included in the program fee will be outlined on the program page. A small amount of the program fee is usually set aside for future program development. 

Many of our local partners are grassroots organisations and in most cases are solely funded by volunteer fees. For them to be able to continue the amazing work they do, volunteer fees and donations are essential. Ultimately, it is a decision of where you would like your money to go... to a hotel, or to a local family? We know which one we'd choose!
